Welcome to Liberty Fitness Life where I will share with you 35 years of accumulated fitness, diet, workout, sports, gear, and athletic wisdom.  I will be focusing for those people over 40 years old.  But all are welcome.   I focus on efficiency in your workouts.  I expect you are very busy.  Probably at the peek of your career.  The good news is you don’t need to live in the gym to get the results you want.  I also focus on simple rules to remember in your diet and your workouts.  What you eat is 4x as important as your workouts.  I also add some mental aids.  Overcoming procrastination for example.  That is a big one.

I will pass along coupons and deals on products and services that I believe in.  I will also provide reviews of products and services in the health and fitness marketplace.

I have some unique perspectives.  I have coached sports for many years, primarily basketball.  I not only played youth sports and college sports I continue to play competitive adult sports into my mid 50’s.  I have played competitive football, college baseball, competitive volleyball, competitive basketball, competitive tennis, and recreational horseback riding.  Don’t worry if you have never been very active.  I got you too.

I have overcome a few significant health challenges.  I was diagnosed HIV+ in 2014, I’m now undetectable.  I had my gallbladder removed in 2014.  I came down with pneumonia in 2014 and lost 50 lbs. (hospital food sucks!).  I had knee surgery in 2015.  Yet I have recovered from all of these and I’m in the best shape of my life since my early 30’s.
